We've reached the end of another year of festive fun with folks you don't know so it is time to wish you all a happy day tomorrow. 

Here's hoping whatever happens it isn't as terrifying as this. 

23rd December

Alf's high jinks were all very well to begin with, but 12 toots of the party blower later, Jane's patience was starting to wane. 

22nd December

Maud and Alice got on just fine as long as they didn't talk about politics, music, morality, gardening, flower arranging, the right way to roast a potato or how to raise children. 

21st December

Everyone agreed that maybe a little more time should be spent on choosing the booking for entertainment at the kids' Christmas party next year. 

'Harrowing' was the review given by one parent.

20th December

Abby was hoping that next year would be the year she finally got to move off the kids' table. 

She was so over this shit.

Since that crack about her curtains, Bettie was full-on blanking Christine.
